BOETIE AKIE

Afgeneem hieronder op Maandag  20 Maart 2017 vaar "Boetie Akie" en "Oceana Concorde" uit Houtbaai hawe onderweg na Kaappunt om rooi-oog te gaan vang.



Ever since 2010 Trawler Heritage has often posted news regarding the latest progress in order to restore the "Boetie Akie" back to her former glory. Captured below is a series of photos taken during the construction phase during which the "Boetie Akie" was re-built over the period December 2010 until May 2016. The video clip shown below is perhaps the only video of it's kind ever produced of an South African fishing vessel being re-built to such an extent, but then this is why we call this website Trawler Heritage...
